Chelsea could be seen reopening their chase for Haaland when the transfer window resumes
Both Tuchel and the club are big fans of the Norwegian ace scorer and having tried signing him last summer, their could be a retry come winter.
It’s known that Chelsea only signed Lukaku as an alternative after Haaland’s move failed to workout due to Dortmund’s decision not to let him leave.
But now, Haaland has already told the club that he wishes to leave possibly by January and Chelsea are well aware of this.
Prior the Wednesday night game, Chelsea may have continued without bringing Erling Haaland’s matter urgently to the table.
Now, Lukaku is injured and Tuchel is yet to know how long both him and Timo Werner will be out for but according to sources close to the club, it’s said that Tuchel has suggested Haaland to the board.
Tuchel believes even with Lukaku back in fitness, he can pair both men to produce greater results, just like the 4-0 against Malmo.
Although, the board is yet to put this consideration, there are higher chances it could be seen happening when the transfer marker reopens.
Chelsea tried so much to land Haaland and won’t consider it a bad idea to to back for him especially when the suggestion is coming from a manager that won them their second UEFA Champions League trophy in just few months after his appointment.
Blues will take on Norwich on Saturday in an early kick off game with both Werner and Lukaku set to miss the action.
