Egypt begin their World Cup Qualification campaign on Wednesday evening when Angola come to visit Cairo.

Despite missing their star man Mohamed Salah, Egypt will be enormous favorites to get off to a victorious start to their World Cup qualifying campaign on Wednesday night.

The head coach Hossam El Badry still has some high-profile players in his ranks, including Olympiakos’ Kouka, Galatasaray’s Mostafa Mohamed, and Pyramids’ Abdallah El Said.

Egypt have been the dominant force on their continent in the last decade and they should not face any significant problems en route to topping this group with Angola, Libya, and Gabon.

Egypt stormed to the top of the Group G in the African Cup of Nations Qualification campaign without suffering a single defeat in six outings (10-3 goal difference in the process).
